NoChords is built around a simple idea: beginners should experience success before they’re asked to memorize theory. Traditional chord learning asks for hand strength, shape memory, and timing all at once—then calls the frustration “practice.”

The core mapping
Colors map to power-chord positions (root + fifth) on a fret‑0 system. The open position is fret 0. Songs are presented as lyrics, and words can be split into timed segments—so music stays aligned with how you actually strum.
