What we store instead: a reusable performance pattern — word positions, timing/structure, and color cues — which can be applied to lyrics supplied by the user.

Why this matters: by keeping lyrics user-provided (and not retained verbatim), we reduce copyright exposure while still enabling the learning workflow.
