How It Works

The first NoChords guitar is strings 3, 4, & 5 of an IRL standard guitar with about half as many frets as usual, neck positions which are marked with a bold color.

NoChords music translates standard music into color-coded lyrics which correspond to the positions available on the neck. When the lyrics are written in black, you strum without touching the neck, when the lyrics turn red you press the red position with one finger and keep strumming, when they turn black again you let go, & so on.

Learning to play guitar is as easy as that, like paint-by-numbers for playing guitar. Within the first few hours, you can reliably play three or four songs, including Amazing Grace and songs by the Rolling Stones!!!
